The Ja Morant featured story on ESPN this morning was very motivational. I’m excited for Ja with the NBA 5 days away. He was overlooked and undersized leading up to this year.
I especially enjoyed the feature because of Ja's father who ended his professional career overseas to come back home and raise Ja in SC.
Ja's pops played with Ray Allen in SC, which gave him a first hand account of what it took to make it.
While Ja was growing up, the parents would throw BBQs and invite kids over to hoop and train. They figured this would keep him out of trouble.
When Ja wasn’t getting looks in high school, he remained confident and trained harder with his dad. Ja's seen jumping in and out of a tractor tire in the feature and now has a 44 in vertical. If you want to become a beast use TRACTOR TIRES.
It is kind of ridiculous how many good young players are in the NBA and Ja will be right up there with the most entertaining to watch.
