Twitter - The Younger Sibling of Facebook

Twitter's stock hasn't had nearly the same success as Facebook's. I like Twitter much more than Facebook as I check Facebook maybe once a week while I check Twitter at least a couple times daily. Let's look at some differences and see if Twitter with a refreshed leader can grow the platform to Facebook heights ($400B Market Cap).

Facebook is over a year older than Twitter and doubled by the time Twitter went public. Meaning Twitter has doubled twice while Twitter has dropped nearly 30%.

Facebook's Financials

Cleary, we will see more advertisement's on Twitter as Facebook has shown Twitter the correct path. The market loves growth so I'm interested in seeing how the active users of the two networks compare. Congrats to Twitter on becoming a money-maker in its 12th year. Twitter user growth has stalled in the US but grown Internationally.

Twitter Daily Active Users: 336 million

Facebook Daily Active Users: 1.49 billion

I will be buying $FB. Nonetheless that puts Facebook's network at about 5x the size of Twitter.
