Came across this diet on the internet after DMing a fitness expert with some questions about my diet. I make oats, fruit, and veggies a priority in my diet, but from what I've gathered from my new twitter friend's feed is that meat and eggs go better with fasting. Some quotes,
"Wouldn't say a mistake." referring to prioritizing oats, fruit, and veggies into every meal. "Rather look to increase meat and egg intake. You'll find your fasts might be easier."
"Smoothies are overrated. Heuristic: don't drink your calories."
Below are some tweets of his I find fascinating. What I gathered is that research hasn't found anything significant regarding oats, fruit, and veggies. Eat more meat and eggs. Plenty of nutrients in meat and eggs. I think the smoothies I make are probably better than the ones he is warning about. I keep mine water based with frozen fruit and veggies. Pretty much eat off the land as much as possible is the diet I like.
